I don’t call the gun-controI debate the gun-controI debate. It simply is a Bill of Rights debate. And we, as Americans, have a mechanism in place for those who would want to see our rights changed in some way. And by design, it is neither quick nor easy.
Still, the debate, whatever you might call it, has brought out some heated arguments, like this one in Oak Harbor: Many attended the meeting to show support for veteran Lucas Yonkman who Councilmember Rick Almberg tried to have kicked out of City Hall last month, including Joe Hawkins who openly mocked him. “Mr. Almberg I just want you to know that I have a concealed ham sandwich right here I don’t want you to get up and walk away,” he chuckled.
I am suggestible when it comes to sandwiches. Note to self: don’t post on food after 2000.
