I am afraid I am late to the party on this one, but the Big E (CVN-65) is back in Norfolk. The aircraft carrier returned from its last deployment this morning. The oldest CVN in the Navy, gone. It was comissioned on 25 November 1961, not to be confused with the vessel of the same name, commissioned in 2245.
