Innovative inventions help solve everyday problems and make life easier. It is hard to imagine a time before such everyday items such as scotch tape, post-it notes, or staplers.
But those are simple office inventions. What 13 year-oldĀ Richard Turere did to keep lions from eating his cows is on another level. . .

I hope some one recognises this young man’s potential and rewards him in kind.
I have been over there at dead of night when the mighty ‘King of the Jungle’ has roared, with only a canvas wall as protection. Had I been aware of Richard Turere’s idea; I would have strapped every available Mag-lite to my body…
Yours Aye.
Ah, living for the thrill…..this young man thought outside the box….and was able to save his livestock and not harm the lions either….k
He’s a little MacGyver. I’m glad he received a scholarship….his future looks (cough) bright?!
EB: Heck, I would plaster my body with ‘em!
Kris: Very out of the box. . .
Lauren: Hey, (cough) no puns allowed on this blog!
