Of Some Drum I Would Never Hear

It was obvious that he was a man who marched through life to the rhythms of some drum I would never hear. Hunter S. Thompson, Hell’s Angels

He who joyfully marches to music rank and file has already earned my contempt. He as been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.

  1. There was a time in American history where marching to a different beat was encouraged. Now days public schools put everyone in the same round hole – if you are a square peg, you don’t stand a chance.

  2. Much as I admire and respect Dr. Einstein, I would not want to bet my life, the lives of my family and friends, the life of my country, on him being in the next foxhole over.

If he gets to be the authority on why we fight, then I get to be the authority on Special Relativity.
