  1. I would like to use this photo for an education talk I ma giving on 11th May. Please let me know how I should acknowledge it.

    Thanks

  2. Hilary, I am a guest writer on ‘The Mellow Jihadi’ whilst the owner ‘NavyOne’ is deployed around Foreign waters. Having viewed the original page I notice that NavyOne posted the image, and I did in fact leave a comment, which was before I started here as a guest writer.

Judging the photo for the first time I can only presume the British Female Sub Lieutenant has not travelled too far from a local area base, or perhaps armoured transport (negative bergan and heavy equipment confirms this, as well as the clean cut non-dusty attire.) In addition to this the ‘one pipper’ has a Head Quarters weapon, as the butt number is clearly visible as HQ63, which may even be HQs63 (if it is HQs63 then the ‘s’ refers to Signals.)

Please feel free to use the same, there is no requirement for any acknowledgement though I am personally curious over the educational talk you are giving. If I can be of any further assistance please just drop another comment.

    Yours Aye. Ex Bootneck.
