Alien Colonial Marines

Aliens: Colonial Marines (ACM) is being marketed as an official 20th Century Fox sequel to Aliens and Alien 3. But be warned, ACM is a video game:

In the first few minutes, we’re thrust into the aftermath of the 1986 movie (and the beginning of Alien 3.). As Corporal Winter, our mission to rescue the rescuers of Hadley’s Hope colony on planet LV-426 rapidly devolves, and it’s up to us to determine what happened.

We also get an intro by Corporal Hicks (Michael Biehn) and some interaction with the “whole” new Bishop (Lance Henriksen). For fans of the films and comic books, that alone is worth the price of admission to this shooting party.

Marines and aliens. Together again. . .

  1. These kids are going to grow up thinking this is all real, next on offer will be active service medals.

    Yours Aye.

  2. And that’s exactly why we continue to have incidents like Sandy Hook occurring…these young kids think reality doesn’t produce consequences….and they ultimately end up suffering a lack of affect….it’s a psychological nightmare…k

  3. EB: You jest, but they already have ‘em!
Kris: It is. Although, I played video games and I turned out (reasonably) well. (Granted this is a self-diagnosis.)
