One Hundred Years Ago

One hundred years ago something wonderful happened for someone other than us. Please see the Supreme Court 1895 decision Pollack v. Farmers’ Loan & Trust for more information on prior efforts. For the record, I favor this-something-wonderful being low for all Americans.

  1. My eyes roll back in my head and my hair turns very blonde at the mention of taxes, but my husband can talk that stuff all day. Years ago, he and a buddy did some research and sent letters to the IRS on why they should not pay Federal income tax. The buddy received a letter excusing him from income tax, but my hubby had to pay. If I talked tax, I could tell you why, but hmm, well, my brain can’t grasp it all.
