THAT crazed girl improvising her music.
Her poetry, dancing upon the shore,
Her soul in division from itself
Climbing, falling She knew not where,
Hiding amid the cargo of a steamship,
Her knee-cap broken, that girl I declare
A beautiful lofty thing, or a thing
Heroically lost, heroically found.
No matter what disaster occurred
She stood in desperate music wound,
Wound, wound, and she made in her triumph
Where the bales and the baskets lay
No common intelligible sound
But sang, ‘O sea-starved, hungry sea

Years ago, I found a photo of a soldier on a bicycle and painted it. It was taken from Kaboom’s blog. Loved that photo and that blog.
Lou,
Your painting is very good and almost timeless.
BZ.
Yours Aye.
Thanks.
Lou: Great watercolor and used to love Kaboom!
EB: Now that is how you compliment an artist!
Thanks. I sent that painting along with several other paintings to
Soldiers’ Angels for a contest – SA wanted to make greeting cards.I sent a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that my paintings could be returned after cards were made. SA wrote back to say they were keeping the paintings. Not cool.
Kaboom was amazing.
