In searching through an article on the day’s gun-control marchers (they marched from the Capitol to the Washington Monument), I came across this nugget. A brave man with a sign that reads, I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy:

If I were an American I would not hesitate in carrying a legal firearm, for self protection and the protection of others against those ‘ill disposed’ who would wish to cause harm.
I would insist that every member of my family did exactly the same. We know and understand right from wrong and I guarantee we would stand up to be counted.
