Once did some cross training at Grafenwoehr with the US as well as the German Bundeswher.
The largest multi national training area in Europe, which is also steeped in history going back well over 100 years. (To allow my kidneys some time off I opted for a cultural/historic two day trip around the area, which I thoroughly enjoyed).
This guy also trained there, one of the richest conscripts to walk through the original archway! (Never been a fan of his music but he certainly left his mark in life).
