When I lived in New York City, I tried to have contingency plans for certain accidents. Like subway disasters. Although, the head-on train crash that occurred on a Vienna (Wien to all you Veeeners) commuter train is hard to storyboard. What do you do when you are hit head-on?
You don’t want to be meeting your self coming the other way on board of one of these monsters, that’s a fact!
From what I have read they were just at rolling speed, which shows at the impact point.
Yours Aye.
Good to hear they were both only rolling. It could have been a real nightmare!
If I had been the engineer (driver) would have been hauling ass to the back of the train.
I must say that when circumstances of the commuter train allow, I sit in seats that face opposite the direction of travel. Also, the closer you are to the back of the car, the fewer “objects in motion” that want to stay in motion unless acted upon one’s face…
CP: Run away, run away!
Skpetic: Very smart, good gouge that I shall use. Thanks.
