Joe Morrissey Fingers an AK-47ish Trigger

Joe Morrissey is a Democrat politician representing Henrico in the Virginia House of Delegates. And he is violating the Golden Rule in the below picture: Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target. This is the Golden Rule. Its violation is directly responsible for about 60 percent of inadvertent discharges. Take a look:

I love how the article captions the picture using the phrase: holds up an AK47-style rifle. Sort of like the whole military-style or assault rifle phrase I keep hearing from our benighted (not beknighted) politicians.

While we are at it, you might as well take a gander at this JC Penny shopper who walked around the store with a rifle (an AR-15) strapped to his back:

  1. I’m sorry, but am the only one that notices the a$$-hats reporting-on and writing legislation on these machines(firearms) don’t seem to know anything about them?
Look at Feinstein(Ugh!) and her “Threaded Barrel” prohibition. Suppressors are legal in all but 11(last time I looked) states. You have to do the paper-work under the NFA, and pay the tax, but there you go. No threaded barrel = no muzzle-brakes, no suppressors.
So, I want to sit on the deck, on my 5 acres and plink, but I have to irritate the shit out of my neighbors because NOW I can’t use my suppressor on my Colt 1911A1?
And this would have prevented Sandy Hook, how?
None of Present-dent “I Won”s 23 “Executive Actions”(whatever the hell those are), would have had ANY effect on the Sandy Hook shootings.
The left just dusts-off the same-old talking-points and trots them out. “Never let a crisis go to waste.”
Wanna see the results of “Hard Core” firearm restrictions? Look at Rahm Emanuels “model-city” Chicago, with 500 shooting-deaths in 2012.
These hypocrites are starting to ‘chap-my-hide’…

    1. You are not alone in your annoyance. I and many other folks are right there with you. I actually looked into becoming a life member of the NRA.

  2. Turns out that being convicted of Domestic Violence in an aggravated assault back in the 90’s (and being disbarred)- he shouldn’t have been able to hold that weapon legally anyway.

But laws only apply to us peons- right?
