Ol’ Mokhtar Belmokhar is a one-eyed jihadi. And he broke away from al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) to build a new organization, al-Mulathamin.

He’s also called Khaled Abu al-Abbas. But folks have taken to calling him Mr. Marlboro.
