Snow in Saudi Arabia

Tabuk receives about four inches of rain every year. And every now and then, they get a white dusting from the sky. Not of sand, but from snow. . .

People play with snow after a heavy snowstorm in the desert near Tabuk, 1500 km (932 miles) from Riyadh.

  1. Wow! If that happened in SoCal they’d have needed a battalion of grief consuelors. After all, formal wear in SoCal is a clean T-shirt.

    • You are not far from the truth. Just driving in the rain is hell. My commute is often an hour in a heavy drizzle. It is just water, I want to yell.
