Wissam Al Mana and Janet Jackson?

In news you no doubt have been waiting on the edge of your seat for, Janet Jackson has gone and gotten engaged to her boyfriend Wissam Al Mana, a billionaire from Qatar:

According to UsWeekly, Wissam proposed earlier this year.

“[Wissam] gave [Janet] a huge, expensive ring,” a source told the publication.
“She’s afraid it will get lost, so she keeps it locked up!”

The couple are believed to be planning a spring wedding in Qatar.

No expense will be spared, according to the tabloid.

“He is flying in all of Janet’s friends and family on private jets,” an insider said. “He wants to get a top chef to create a custom menu.”

Janet has tied the knot twice before.

Her 1984 union with James DeBarge was annulled the following year and she secretly married music promo producer René Elizondo, Jr. in 1991.

They divorced in 2000.

Wissam looks like Adrien Brody. No word on whether the guy is a Nasty Boy.

  1. Isn’t he a little bit islam? That should work out well for janet. When he demands her to be coverd in the rag I wonder what she will say? And will there be a new honor killing in Qatar? And would we hear about it from the “news people”?

  2. I heard about this a while ago….it’s not anything I could envision as a lasting relationship particularly since Janet is the West personified…she’d have to believe this man was significantly more exotic than the average run of the mill sort of American or any other type of celebrity she’s accustomed to dealing with or being around…her psychology and that of her entire family is questionable in any event…she won’t likely put up with any shenanigans from this ass for terribly long..hope she’s not into submission because it’s almost a guaranty he’ll expect it…k

  3. OkieRover: Wow, we are all rich!
Kris: You have your ear to the ground, this is a first heard for me.
EB: You betcha! Kerching. . .
