I love highlighting heroes and I gotta hand it to singer Kristy Lee Cook; her song, Airborne Ranger Infantry, is melodic. (Although, would it have killed her to throw the Navy a bone? Like how about Tough Navy Linguist or Surprisingly Muscular Naval Cryptologist?) And while we are chatting heroes, we probably should tip our hat (cover) to the anonymous woman who shot Lawrence Sandoval. That pos tried to rape a woman at knifepoint. Guess he did not expect she was packing. Enjoy being worm food, Larry. . .
Great song, N1. Posted it on my FB site for my airborne pals to see.
Good for the woman who shot Sandoval!!

Ah, the saga of the dumbass that brings a knife to a gunfight. BZ, young lady, BZ.
In the early 90′s I taught at the Taos, NM junior high. Mr. Sandoval could very well been one of the kids running around in the halls there. There was the beginning of a gang problem at that time. I was amazed how so many people did not take the problem seriously. It was my last year in the public schools before I quit and started homeschooling my own children. People move to Taos because it is a beautiful place to live. They think they will find happiness and inner peace. Gang violence, thefts, racial discord, and the highest alcoholic death rate per capita in the nation changes the beauty of the mountains in a hurry. Not to mention NM is a big welfare state.
CP: Alright, I am sure those guys’ll like it.
DM: I love it.
Flugelman: BZs to her, definitely.
Lou: Just as I suspected, one of yours.
