No, no, no, no and no! You are about the third site I have seen make the false statement it was the world record tuna fish. It is not! it may have been the biggest Yellow-fin but not even close to the largest tuna. I believe a 1500 lb Bluefin was caught off Nova Scotia back in the 70′s.
