There is an old saying in the Navy, A bitchin* Sailor is a happy Sailor. Still, there is something phony about the below picture of happy North Korean soldiers:

From what I hear, the North Korean military is one of the few groups that actually manage not to starve to death in the entire country…the rest of the population lives on insects, bugs, various assorted animals and rice…a sad commentary when compared to it’s other half in the south…such a tragedy the country is so divided…k
Somehow I think Happy and North Korea is an oxymoron.
Kris: Ah, that is right. I heard that before. Maybe that is why they are so happy.
