To those of you in the sunny confines of Sandy Eggo, can you help out a Navy Captain currently deployed? His dog ran away on July the Fourth:
A local woman is desperately searching for the dog of a San Diego Navy captain who is on deployment. The dog escaped from the backyard of a Valencia Park home on the Fourth of July after it reportedly became spooked by fireworks.”They trusted me. I think they don’t trust me anymore,” said Lilibeth Augustin, who was caring for the dog. Augustin has been upset ever since the German Shepherd-Labrador mix — named Pinoy — escaped from her backyard.
Augustin has been taking care of the dog for local Navy Capt. Jim Sullivan and his wife while they have been in Hawaii on deployment.
I don’t blame the dog. Surely you heard of the madness we had over here in San Diego with 15 minutes of fireworks in 15 seconds? Check out the major-league fail yourself. . .

I hope Pinoy is okay….
Let us know if she is found okay, Navy One. Thanks.
You bet, Lauren. I hope the little guy is found. . .
