They didn’t look like that in my Navy. More like linebackers. But then I was at sea quite a bit, so even the linebackers looked pretty good to an 18/19 year old.
Were they inside or outside linebackers?
You have to remember, these young people found themselves in the Navy five years after WWII was over and the very start of the Korean conflict.. just a thought, if these people are still alive, they must be in their mid-seventies to eighties…the circle of life…and then some…k
